Miranjali is created by Smita Venkataraman, a former HR and Corporate Communications leader with a multi-award winning track record of over 25 years across prestigious blue chip organisations globally. An alumna of IIM Bangalore, Columbia Business School and the India Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS), she has been frequently featured in India's leading print media as a thought leader in her field; and was listed in 'India's 40 under 40' for HR Leadership Excellence. She is also a trained artist in multiple folk art forms, a published children's author, and a regular speaker in India's leading business schools and national industry conferences.

In addition to her own artwork, Miranjali is fueled by the amazing art of various master artists and artisans across India.
